I’m Marko Hunyady, the founder of ArtSalon.

I have been a professional hairdresser for almost 15 years, and I qualified in 2011.  

I worked in Oslo, Norway, for a while, then in 2016 I opened my first salon in Hungary, ArtSalon Budapest.

Over those years I moved steadily towards barbering, and the knowledge I had gained cutting women’s hair kept paying off.

I also taught at the Clips Hairdresser Academy for a few years, but the demands of salon work eventually drew me away from teaching.

In 2019 I returned to teaching, mainly private sessions and small group workshops of 10–12 people.

At the same time I keep building my own knowledge, attending courses and seminars regularly, mostly with international educators.

In 2022 I became an international brand ambassador for the UK brand The Bluebeards Revenge.

I currently represent the LineScissors scissors brand.
